To close identified data gaps batch experiments with muscovite, orthoclase and quartz are conducted to examine the sorption behavior of Cs+ and UO22+, Ni2+ as well as Al3+, Eu3+,Nd3+, Cm3+, La3+, Lu3+, Y3+ and Np5+ using varying geochemical conditions. Different experimental set-ups are tested and compared, experimental data is substantiated via spectroscopic evidence and further evaluated via mechanistic sorption models. The following links examplarily offer an overview of major findings of batch sorption experiments and model approaches for bi- and trivalent long-term safety relevant elements.
